Notes:

1. Bus Fare

• Although route 31 operates as a circular route with only one terminus, fare is charged per single journey. If passengers board at Tong Yan San Tsuen bound bus stops before Ma Fung Ling Road, and continue the journey to Yuen Long bound bus stops at or after Ping Shan Stop,re-tendering of fare is required.

2. Operational arrangement of Yuan Long Station stop and free interchange service​

• Please be informed that the service hours of Yuen Long Station stop is from 06:30 to 22:00 daily (eta). 

• For passengers' convenience, free interchange service is available for passengers boarding at Yuen Long Station stop. Passengers may board buses of either 31 and 32 and interchange at Hong King Street. Passengers boarding at other Yuen Long bound stops are NOT eligible for free interchange.

• To enjoy free interchange, passengers must board another bus or queue up immediately at Hong King Street stop. Otherwise, passengers are required to tender fare.

3. Special departures from Yuen Long Station​

• From 18:00 to 20:00 (except Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays) special departures of route 31 from Yuen Long Station to Tong Yan San Tsuen are operated. Passengers who board normal departures of route 31 and would like to interchange for Tong Yan San Tsuen bound departures must alight at Hong King Street terminus and queue again. Affected passengers may take the special departures from Yuen Long Station during the said period.
